In short: Pintle does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your study progress stays on your iPhone.
Who we are

What the app keeps on your device
To work, the app saves these on your iPhone only: the state and tests you chose, which questions you answered and which you missed, whether you have used the free test, and your read-aloud speed. We never receive this information. Deleting the app deletes it. If your iPhone backs up to iCloud, Apple may include it in your backup under Apple's own privacy terms.
Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details. The app checks with Apple, on your device, whether your subscription is active.
Read-aloud
Questions and pre-trip scripts are read aloud using your iPhone's built-in speech, on the device. No audio or text is sent to us.
When you email us
"Report an error" opens your own email app with a message you can edit. Nothing is sent unless you send it. If you do, we receive your email address and what you wrote, and use them only to reply and to fix the content. We delete these emails when they are no longer needed.
Children
Pintle is for adults preparing for a commercial driver's license and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. If we ever start collecting data, we will say so here and in the App Store listing before doing so.
